This was a new ocean front three story custom residential design and construction project. The owner’s desired a Palm Beach Mediterranean styled family home complete with deeply textured exterior stuccoed walls and a barrell like clay tile roof. This design was all about maximizing the views of the ocean beyond and creating a number of terraces and exterior porches to extend the interior living spaces to the exterior. The classic proportions along with the use of stone columns, balustrades and terraces as well as the use of numerous arches is reminiscent of coastal homes on the Italian Riveria.
The nearly 8000 square foot residence commands fabulous views of the Atlantic Ocean and sits along Flyway Drive in the Ocean Palms subdivision of Kiawah Island.
